About newAGAIN Phone Repair

newAGAIN Phone Repair serves Cabarrus and Rowan Counties through two local shops: Concord, open since November 2016, and Salisbury, serving customers since 2017. We're a family-owned shop — not a franchise, not a kiosk, not a chain. Just a real local business with an owner who stands behind every repair.

Our Story

We opened newAGAIN because we believed people in this community deserved better. Better service. Honest pricing. Someone they could actually hold accountable if something went wrong.

Nearly 10 years later, that's still what we are. We've helped thousands of customers in Concord and Kannapolis get their devices fixed, find an affordable phone, or switch to a plan that actually makes sense for them.

My wife and I run the shop together. When you come in, you're not dealing with a rotating staff of strangers — you're dealing with us.

— Clayton Moorman, Owner

Credentials & Recognition

We've earned a few things over the years we're proud of:

  • Clayton, our owner, is an Apple Certified Technician

  • A+ Rating with the Better Business Bureau — earned, not purchased

  • Best of Greater Cabarrus winner — 2021 & 2022; runner-up 2020 & 2023

  • Nextdoor Neighborhood Favorite — recognized by our neighbors directly

  • Concord since 2016 and Salisbury since 2017

What We Do

We help people with the entire life of their device — not just when it breaks.

  • Phone and tablet repairs — screen, battery, charging port, and more

  • Game console repairs — PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch

  • Tested and inspected pre-owned iPhones and Samsung phones—available stock in Concord and special orders in Salisbury

  • Prepaid and monthly phone plans from several carriers

  • Cases, screen protectors, and accessories

  • AKKO device protection plans and repair support — available at both our Concord and Salisbury shops

Why Local Matters

When you bring your phone to newAGAIN, you're not dropping it in a mail-in box and hoping for the best. You're handing it to the person who will actually fix it — and who you can come back to if anything isn't right.

That's what a local shop is for. That's what we've always been.
